How digital downloads work
Pay by UPI, card or net banking and download at once. Tick and type in the file on your phone, where it saves, or print it. Here are the answers to what people ask most.
What is a digital download? (Digital download kya hota hai?)
You buy a file instead of a parcel. After paying, you download a PDF or image to your phone or computer. Nothing is shipped.
Which payment methods work?
UPI from any app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay UPI or your bank’s own), plus credit cards, debit cards, net banking and wallets. Pick whichever you like on the payment screen.
Do you accept cards? Is there cash on delivery?
Yes, credit and debit cards both work, as do UPI, net banking and wallets. Cash on delivery is not possible, because nothing is posted to you: the file arrives by download and email the moment you pay.
My download link has stopped working.
Download links time out after about a day, which is the payment provider’s rule. Open the confirmation email you were sent and use the Download link in it: it asks for the email address you paid with and issues a fresh link. If that does not work, write to me with your payment reference (the UTR or order ID) and I’ll send you the file myself, within one working day.
Payment ho gaya par file nahi mili?
The download link opens right after payment, and a copy is emailed to the address you entered. Check spam and promotions first. Still nothing after 30 minutes? Email littleelsewhere.help@gmail.com with your payment reference (the UTR or order ID) and I’ll send the file within one working day.
How do I open a PDF on my phone?
Tap the download link. Android phones open PDFs in Files, Drive or any PDF reader. On iPhone, open it in Files or Books. Save it to Google Drive so you never lose it.
Do I have to print it, or can I fill it in on my phone?
Either. The same file does both. Every sheet you write on is a real PDF form: tap the boxes to tick them, type on the lines, and save. Your answers stay in your copy of the file. Printed, the page looks exactly as it always did, with ruled lines and empty boxes for a pen. You need a reader that handles forms: Adobe Acrobat Reader is free on Android and iPhone, and Apple’s Files and Books apps work too. Some very basic viewers only display pages, which is why the printable layout was left untouched.
Can I print it?
Yes. Print at home on A4 with “Fit to page” turned on, or take the PDF to a local print shop on your phone. Printing for your own household is always included.
Can I highlight it and add my own notes?
Yes. Nothing in these files is locked or password-protected, so you can highlight, underline and add notes anywhere, in any reader that does annotations. Every page is real text rather than a picture of text, so searching for a word works too.
Can I share it with family or friends?
Share printed pages with the people in your household, including grandparents and helpers. Please don’t forward the file or post it in WhatsApp or Telegram groups. The one exception is The Believable Year, which you may buy as a gift and send to the one person it is for. Each product page explains its licence.
Do you offer licences for schools, clinics or parent groups?
Not yet. Today every kit is licensed to one household (The Parents’ Home Safety Walk also covers your brothers and sisters, and The Believable Year can be given to one person as a gift). If you would like to use a kit with a group, please write to me and tell me what you need, and I’ll tell you plainly whether I can help, and when.
Can I get a refund?
Downloads arrive instantly, so they can’t be taken back. But if you were charged twice, or the file doesn’t reach you or won’t open and I can’t fix it, write to me within 7 days of paying (no deadline if you were charged twice) and I refund in full to the same account within 5 to 7 working days. See the refund policy.
